Four key points to pay attention to when building a greenhouse

Farmers need to pay attention to the following four points when building greenhouses:
(1) Lack of rainy season drainage system
Many farmers did not consider the issue of greenhouse drainage when building their sheds, and did not take preventive measures. As a result, during heavy rain in summer, the rainwater left on the shed surface collects at the "front face" of the shed without a place to flow, and people cannot enter for several consecutive days, even leading to the phenomenon of the front edge of the shed being washed away. The correct method is to dig a drainage ditch in front of the greenhouse that runs east-west and is the same length as the greenhouse. The drainage ditch is about half a meter wide and about 30 centimeters deep. So that the water left on the surface of the greenhouse can flow away at any time, preventing water from entering the greenhouse.
(2) The distance between the two columns in the back row is too large
The top part of the greenhouse between the two rows of columns in the greenhouse is often where rolled up grass curtains and rolling shutter machines are parked. This part can be said to be a place that receives a lot of pressure, often causing the skeleton on top to deform. The spacing between these two rows of columns should be minimized as much as possible, around 80 centimeters, with only one east-west cement ditch and pedestrian walkway built in the middle.
(3) There is too little open space between the two sheds
Some farmers, in order to save land, keep the distance between two greenhouses too narrow, some even about 2 meters, leaving hidden dangers for the greenhouse. In winter, the greenhouse provides too much shade for the back, which hinders the growth of vegetables in the first half of the greenhouse. Secondly, it poses significant harm to drainage. During winter snowfall, there may be situations where the snow shed cannot be stacked in front of it. So the correct distance between the two sheds is 4-5 meters, which not only avoids shading but also prevents wind.
(4) Lack of protective measures on the back slope
Some farmers do not have covering facilities on the back slope, which often causes rainwater to wash away in summer, thus affecting the service life of the greenhouse. Some shantytowns, although covered with a layer of plastic sheeting on the back slope, often become exposed again after being exposed to wind and sun for less than a year. So we need to wrap a layer of plastic cloth on the back slope of the greenhouse, and then wrap a layer of non-woven fabric on the outside. Seal with steel wire every 10 meters or so, which can guarantee about five years without major problems.
