How to maintain the film of vegetable greenhouse with thin film

As an important component of agricultural inputs, how to use and maintain greenhouse film reasonably has become an important link in saving input costs. Below, we will introduce several daily maintenance methods for greenhouse films.

Daily maintenance precautions:

1. Anti rupture: The materials used for building greenhouses are mostly made of iron wire, aluminum wire, etc. These hard and sharp materials are prone to puncturing thin films. Therefore, the material used for building the frame should have a smooth surface, and the tips of the poles and bamboo joints should be polished and smoothed. Soft materials such as hemp rope should be used for tying the frame, and hard materials such as iron wire and aluminum wire should not be used.

2. Anti seam detachment: Greenhouse film is made up of several narrow films spliced together. If the seam is too narrow and the bonding area is small, it will cause detachment when pulled hard. Therefore, when splicing, it is necessary to increase the bonding area, improve the bonding strength, and avoid detachment during use.

3. Windproof: Thin and lightweight greenhouse films are easily blown apart by strong winds in winter, so once the film is covered, it should be immediately pressed down with a pressure film line. Generally, a pressure film line is pulled every 1-2 sheds, and the tension of the line should be moderate. In areas with frequent strong winds, simple windproof barriers can be set up on the windward side to reduce wind damage.

4. Anti aging. After the greenhouse production is completed, the film should be washed clean, dried, rolled up, and placed in a ventilated, dry, and dark place to delay aging and extend its service life. In addition, during the collection period, special attention should be paid not to expose the film to sunlight, and fire.

5. Frequent repair: If the agricultural film is damaged during use, it must be repaired immediately. Nowadays, most manufacturers provide repair tape.

6. Water droplet removal: During the cultivation of vegetables, due to the large temperature difference between inside and outside the greenhouse, a layer of water droplets often adheres to the inside of the ordinary film covered. Even if there is no drip film, water droplets will still appear after a certain period of use. These water droplets seriously affect the light transmittance of the greenhouse film, reduce the temperature inside the greenhouse, and easily cause diseases when they fall onto crops. Pay attention to daily exhaust ventilation, which can reduce the indoor water vapor content in the greenhouse.
