People engaged in the greenhouse industry in agriculture know that keeping the greenhouse dry is very important. Scientists engaged in the design and research of greenhouse facilities can design and manufacture basic and modern automatic control greenhouses according to the different needs of users. So how to remove moisture from multi span greenhouses in order to promote normal plant growth?
1. Cover with plastic film. The use of plastic film covering can reduce the evaporation of soil moisture and is an important measure to reduce indoor air humidity. In addition, insulation curtain materials with good moisture absorption are used. The use of insulation curtain materials with good moisture permeability and absorption can prevent dew from falling onto plants, thereby reducing the air humidity in multi span greenhouses.
2. Raise temperature and lower humidity. This method can meet the temperature requirements of vegetables and reduce the relative humidity of the air. When the plant grows to have resistance, water it and close the greenhouse to raise the temperature to about 30 ℃ for 1 hour, then ventilate and remove moisture. When the greenhouse temperature drops below 25 ℃ 3-4 hours later, it can be repeated once. It is also possible to use natural moisture absorbing materials such as straw, wheat straw, and quicklime to spread the material between rows, absorb water vapor or mist, and achieve the purpose of moisture reduction.
3. Ventilation and air exchange. Ventilation and air exchange are good ways to reduce humidity, but ventilation must be carried out at high temperatures, otherwise it will cause a decrease in indoor temperature in multi span greenhouses. If the temperature drops too quickly during ventilation, the ventilation opening should be closed in a timely manner to prevent the vegetables from being harmed by a sudden drop in temperature. So it is necessary to control the ventilation situation well, otherwise the consequences cannot be predicted.
